Industry Communications Strategy
client : Safework SA
In 2017 legislation changed in SA so that Safework had enhanced powers to work with industry and educate them on the benefits of safety awareness among staff in the workplace, rather than take a more punitive role as the regulator.
Susan was contracted to assist Safework's Business Advisory team to develop a comprehensive three year Communications Strategy targeting small business owners in all sectors across SA. Based in house with Safework's communication and media team, Susan
- engaged with internal stakeholders including the Executive Team and outreach staff,
- wrote the overarching strategy including social media messaging,
- developed the media buy budget with state government and
- produced the series 'Seven Simple Steps to Safety' videos, published online as a free industry resource.
