Discussion Paper – Adelaide City Council Tourism Action Plan
Adelaide City Council are developing a new Tourism Action Plan to achieve their targets by 2020.
Yours truly at CVC are onboard to help bring it together with good buddy Becky Hirst at BH Consulting. We’ve just finished the Discussion Paper and you can download it here, or just read on for a brief update of the project.
From January through to April 2016 we are working with the tourism team at Adelaide City Council to help them define their role in delivering authentic Adelaide Experiences to visitors to the capital city. We are holding roundtables with SA government and tourism industry stakeholders to rethink how best to collaborate and implement practical and bold new ways to improve visitor nights and experiences of SA’s capital city. What is an authentic ‘Adelaide Experience’, and who are Adelaide’s target markets? How can Adelaide City Council work with other metro Councils to improve how we promote their attractions and link visitors more easily out into regions?
