Susan's background is in business advisory and growth strategies using market and product development approaches. She services regional and city based clients in tourism, leisure, economic development, entertainment/attractions, business growth and planning for capital investment. Susan works with business owners and managers in government departments by building relationships, identifying linked contingencies required for sustained success. She identifies project risks and issues early and works to find creative solutions with unconventional parterships and by understanding nice market behaviour and micro segment preferences. Susan is an experienced consultant who coaches startups in business fundamentals and strategic growth, and does so by getting early insight into clients' vision for their own business future.
Susan was a Regional Tourism Manager for the Flinders Ranges & Outback in SA, Senior Business Adviser at Verve Group and SA/Vic Manager at Indigenous Professional Services, a national award winning Indigenous owned-consulting firm contrcted by federal government and tier ones.
Susan is a serving non-Executive Director (Treasurer) on Western Melbourne Tourism Inc. Previously she held Board roles on the Australian Regional Tourism Network and Amnesty International (SA/NT). She owns and operates the Outback Shack in Flinders Ranges SA, plays the ukelele and loves practising ashtanga yoga and long range hiking.
