Susan Lee, Principal Consultant

Hi, I'm Susan and predominantly my background is in tourism. In 1999 I worked a couple of seasons in France and Greece and then tour guided in central Australia to learn more about Aboriginal culture. My adventures started a whole new career, as I met passionate business owners, interesting communities and experienced the raw power of remote nature. I completed my BA in Communications in New York and returned to Australia where I promptly headed for Alice Springs and wrangled a job at the NT Tourism Commission on industry development projects including the Red Centre Way drive route and Aboriginal cultural product development. As Regional Tourism Manager in the Flinders Ranges and Outback for SA Tourism I worked with an industry board and developed national marketing campaigns with industry.  Following this I moved into private sector in 2010 working as a management consultant at Verve Group, working on business improvement and commercial growth projects with regional clients and in 2012 I started this business to specialise in tourism and market growth projects. When not figuring out how to grow my business, I practise yoga, play the uke (pretty badly) and read as much literary fiction as I can squeeze in! My other secret dream job is to be a published writer.
